Hi I have been living in Ga all of my life and have always had an regular period even after birthing twins vaginally. 5 months ago we moved to el paso texas but I have only had 3 periods and the last one I had a month ago was shorter then usual. I have took over 10 pregnancy test and they re all negative. Do you have any ideas of what it could be? Thank you in advance.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern.
I think it is due to hormonal imbalance due to sudden change in life style.
Elevate place has no relation with periods.

Following are the other causes
High level of stress, Late ovulation, Excessive exercise, Drugs: Birth control pills, thyroid medication, Excessive tea and caffeine, Thyroid problem

Do regular walking and exercise.
Eat healthy diet

Also note that
Menstruation required co ordinate action of various hormone that secreted by ovary (estrogen and progesterone) and brain (FSH and LH).
If any above hormone is decreased or increased there is imbalance in menstruation.
So please do full hormonal profile : Estrogen, progestron, LH, FSH, HCG and thyroid hormone.
That help to diagnose hormonal imbalance.
After confirmation you can take treatment according So please go ahead.

Hope this may help you
All the best.
Stay healthy.
