Does Brown-blackish Period, Nauseous And Tiredness Indicates Miscarriage?

A few months ago, I missed my period for 4 days. However, when it came I had dark brown-blackish blood, that barely came down but was visible when I wiped or gone to the bathroom. Prior to this I was nauseous, craving buttery foods and tired. Could I have miscarried?

Hi,
If you have never missed a period and are sexually active without any contraception, then, the first thing to be suspected is a pregnancy which may have miscarried as in a chemical abortion. If not, it could as well be a delayed incomplete period which was perhaps caused due to some hormonal imbalance; reasons could be many ranging from sudden weight disturbances, stress, infections, certain medications etc. A pregnancy test at the time or a trans-vaginal sonogram would have given you the correct diagnosis. Symptoms are usually misleading and non-specific. Hope this helps.
