Does Blurred Vision And Dilated Pupil After Scratch On Cornea Indicate Adie Syndrome.?
Hi there, Recently I got a scratch on my cornea from some saw dust or other debris that got into my eye from cutting wood it was tearing and very painful for two nights I could barely sleep and could not function very well with any tasks. I saw a specialist and they gave me a bandaid contact (?) to help with irritation as well as some prescribed drops. Since my last visit I found that my vision has blurred in the affected eye, my pupil is remaining dilated and irregular in shape and is not reacting to light (not constricting) it is very sore. I have not used the drops in almost 24 hours to see if they were causing this issue but nothing has changed. I am wondering what the issue is or if it will get better. I saw something called adie syndrome that looks similar to what I have however it says it s permanent - could this be the case? And could t be caused by injury/inflammation to the eye? The symptoms were progressive and he blurring of my vision occurred on and off until now where it remains blurry. Please let me know what it could be if not adie syndrome. Thanks so much -worried individual :(
it is simply forgein body ineye. consult eye doctor for removal of forgeinbody. since ihas scrached cornea, it should be treated like corneal ulcer. worm phomantation should be given and ofloxacin.3%eye drop should be applied6hourly. For one week every day cornea should be nchecked for progress. drops should be continued for 15days.
