Does Application Of Clotrimazole While Trying To Conceive Reduce Chances Of Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor. I just had sex with my partner, we re trying to conceive. And I ve been on thrush treatment so used Clotrimazole cream two hours later and in doing so discovered I was already ovulating because of the slimy discharge. I m just a little worried if this could affect my chances of conceiving.

Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that application of cotrimazole cream won't effect your chances of conceiving. But I would suggest you that if you are trying to conceive avoid taking any medicines without consulting your gynaecologist as many drugs can cause adverse effects on the foetus.
