Does Antibiotics Have Side Effects?

I was put on anitbiotics and ear drops for an ear infection. Since the end of the cours almost a week ago, rarely but sometimes it hurts when i pee and i cannot do a no2. it tries to come out but it hurts and just won t. What could be wrong? are these side effects?

Hi

You have not mentioned the name of antibiotics.Antibiotic use can definitely cause constipation and burning sensation while urinating.

Drink plenty of fluids to flush out the drug.Fruit juice and tender coconut is also recommended in case you are not a diabetic.

Eat high fibre diet to soften the stools.Laxatives like liquid paraffin 15ml can be taken at night for 3 to 5 days to reduce discomfort.
