Does A Bladder Infection Cause Delayed Periods?

I m 35 I have paragard for birth control, I m 4 days late with my period, took home pregnancy test and it was neg. I usually spot 3-4 days before my period and like clock work I get my period every 26-28 days. On day 4 of miss period I feel crampy and lower back pain, alao started feeling like I have a bladder infection. Could a bladder infection cause my period to be 4 days late? Can a bladder infection cause a false neg. Pregnacy test?

Hello,

A bladder infection as such does not interfere with the periods but the fever and weakness associated with infection can delay the periods by a few days.

No need to worry if you have not missed your pills.
