Does Valium Help In Detoxing From Alcohol?

my son is detoxing from alcohol at home and has not had a drink today. He was hearing voices and was crying. He took two declinol tablets which is vitamins and Kudzu, and a Bcomplex after dinner. His doctor gave him 5 mg of Valium when he did this 6 weeks ago. Should I give him Valium now?

Along with regularity in taking prescribed medicines minimize withdrawal symptoms.

Yes, if his doctor has prescribed it & he is too much disturbed, you can give it now. But see that he is not habituated to it.
