Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,

Your TSH is slightly on higher side- Sub clinical hypothyroidism. If you are having a neck swelling or if your cholesterols are high or if you are planning to get pregnant you should consult a physician and get started on thyroid medications.

The doctor may do a thyroid antibodies to confirm the type of thyroid disease before starting the treatment.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
