Does Metropolol Has Side Effect Of Weight Gain And Dry Cough?
I have high blood pressure and a high heart rate. I am in my early 50s and have had 2 minor heart attacks. Tests show limited blockage in main arteries but the last angiogram showed a problem with the left ventricular arteries being too small. I was prescribed Metropolol . Since Last fall I have gained 20 pounds and I have a nagging dry cough. Could this be from the meds?

This is nothing to take with the medicine you are taking, this gaining the weight is different thing and may depend upon your life style, and genetic constitution, you need to cut down the calorie intake, take care and have nice day.
