Does MRI Reveal Brain Injuries That Was Not Visible In CT Scan?

i am 37 years old. 5foot 5. 9 and a half stone. i had severe headache, numbness on one side of my face,left, eye pain. ear noises in left ear. my doctor sent me for a ct scan. he said it shows no brian tumours but i should still have my mri scan. why would this be? did he still see something? or does it show things a ct scan wouldnt?

Yes ct scan cannot show posterior circulatory strokes and posterior fossa structures as shown in mri.
