Psychiatrist 's  Response
hello there, first of all lamictol is not considered ideal drug of bipolar disorder but it can help. Had you consulted your treating psychiatrist before using mirena? Now there are very few data available of interaction between these two. You also have not mentioned what signs you are having for pregnancy. I advice you to first go to gynecologist and confirm about pregnancy. If your pregnancy is confirmed then you must visit your psychiatrist and if possible change lamictol to other safe medicine like olanzapine. All the best
