Does HCG Diet Cause The Side Effect Of Severe Itching In The Vagina?

I am 20 years old female, weight 154lbs (I was 178 when i began my diet. I have been off of it for about 2 months now.)Does the HCG diet have a side affect of causing serious iching in the vaginal area? I did the diet about 4 months ago and started to get a real severe ich on my vulva. To the point where i iched it raw. I have used cremes to help and it goes away then returns. I'm trying to figure out the cause and what to do about it because it will heal then get bad again.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the itching may be related to infection or reaction to either the material or any chemicals (detergent, soaps etc) that are coming in contact with this area.

The diet may also have affected the flora in the vaginal area.

It would be best to see your gynaecologist for assessment. Oral and topical treatment may be needed.

I hope this helps
