OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

The delay in the period can be due to the hormonal changes caused by the pill that was given to her for emergency contraception. It is best to do a urine test to rule out pregnancy and wait for the periods to begin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Rakhi Tayal, OBGYN
