Does Flexiril Cause Headache, Faster Heartbeat And High Blood Sugar?

hi , didn t know if you got my question it went blank on me , so I ask again sry, I have been prescribed flexeril, 10 mgs 3times aday have taken it for one day only started it yeasteday I woke up with a pounding headache and my heart felt racey I also have high blood sugar and I checked it it was 316 never ever been that high always at 80s and 90s so I took my medication that I take daily for blood sugar and it seems to have calmed down scared me to death will flexeril make my blood sugar go bonkers wondering if that is what made my sugar go bonkers and if that is why I felt the way I did am waiting patiently for answer thank you for yur time :)

Hi, Flexiril can cause headaches, rise in the heart rate and also disturbances in your blood sugar control, though these are rare side effects. You have not mentioned for what you have been prescribed flexiril, so I am not in aposition to talk about the need to continue it. However the fact that you have had a sudden spurt in glucose levels may make it a less favorable choice to continue with it in my humble opinion.
