Does Enalapril Interact With Blood Pressure Medication?

I have been perscribed Enalapril, 5mm daily does. I have Afib-No HBP. However I am also prescribed a HBP medication too. When I take the Enalpril with my other prescribed meds I suffer some pretty serious diarrhea. If I skip the Enalpril no diarrhea. My cardiologist does not seem to have an answer for me. Ideas? Hi,

Enalapril can lead diarrhoea as side effects. So you can have diarrhoea due to Enalapril. Kindly mention which other medication you have been prescribed.

You can investigate with stool routine micro examination to rule out infective aetiology. If no organism isolated then diarrhoea can be due to enalapril and you can change medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
