Does Clomid Cause Delayed Periods?

Hi. I keep reading mixed reviews online. So i just wanted to ask...does clomid delay your period? Im 3 days late my breasts are sore and i have lower back pain. I have never had a late period. Pregnancy test says negative. Im excited to start another round of clomid but my period isnt starting!

medication like progesterone and estrogen combination delays the period and on stooping it causes withdrawal bleeding.oral contraceptive also act in similar way. it s to be started from period to next month for 28days. few tablet from beginning and end are placebo.
