Do Steroids Trigger Epileptic Fits?

Hi in Branden i have had epilepsy but have been off medication for two years without having fits ,i have recently wanted to gain body weight and look good but i have a quick metabolism ,i was considering steroids that s why i am asking you will it trigger my epileptic fits to come back ?

Hi dear.Steroids can disrupt the electrical activity of the brain's circuitry and can set off a seizure.Thus they may reduce the seizure thresh hold and increase the probability of seizures but cannot be assured.Hope this answers your query.
