Do Steroids Prescribed For Bronchitis Elevate Heart Palpitations?

Already have heart palpations from time to time....but got broncitis and took steroids,....could broncitis and steroids make the palpations worse they have been bad for two days....anything I can do to stop them....someone said drink lots of water will help....

Steroids causes rise in blood pressure. It directly do not increase the heart rate but increases blood pressure.
In my opinion you should meet your doctor and discuss about it. Adding atenolol to your prescription will greatly help you.
