Hello, I was in a car accident over a year ago and have received extensive chiropractor care. After this did not relieve my pain, I was then told to get an MRI which revealed 5 herniated discs both in my neck and lower back. I have received 4 rounds of ESIs as well as nerve blocks, facet injections, and a cervical rhizotomy. Last week I received 6 lumbar facet injections on Tuesday and was supposed to get my period that Friday. I normally cramp a full week before my period, which I did. After the injections the cramps seemed to be a lot worse and a lot deeper, and Friday came around and my period never came. It has now been 6 days that I am late and I am not showing as pregnant. My doctor said that the procedure could cause a delay in my period, but is it possible that the amount of injections that I got caused me to possibly miss my cycle? I am still have deep uncomfortable cramps, just getting a little worried.
