Do Birth Control Pills Help In Postponing My Period?
Hello I’m not currently on the birth control pill but I have a pack that was perscirbed to me at home. I am going on vacation and should be geting my period any day now and was wondering if there is a way to prevent my period ? Should I start the pill today and take it for one week?
I can understand your problem. as you are not taking birth control pills presently. So these pills will not help in postponing the period after starting that dose. For postponement you can take tab. primolut N after consultation. birth control pill will help when you are taking regularly and bleeding occurs sudden after stoppage of these pills. I will suggest you to follow up with detailed history or consult with gynaecologist for detailed examination.
I think this will clarify your concerns. Thank you.
Take care.
