Do All Women Experience Implantation Bleeding?

Hello, My menstrual cycle was supposed to be due on Oct. 20th. It is now 13 days late. I ve had light cramping though, along with tender breasts, headaches, and fatigue. I usually experience these symptoms when my cycle normally comes anyway. But recently I ve experienced frequent urination and even excessive burping. I ve taken both a home pregnancy test and gone to the hospital to have a urine and blood test done. All came out negative. The doctor I spoke to said it may be too early to detect pregnancy, but also that it may be a hosts of other things effecting my cycle. Lastly, do all women experience implantation bleeding?

Hallow Dear,

Usually pregnancy test on the urine is quite reliable 10 days after the missed period. If it is negative even after 13 days of missed period, you are not pregnant.

Moreover, the blood test for hCG which is done for Beta hCG estimation is very sensitive test and you can detect the pregnancy even few days before the periods are missed. If the hCG levels are 25 mIU are confirmatory for pregnancy. Since even about a fortnight after missed period this test reports 'no pregnancy', I feel you should not have any doubt in your mind. You are not pregnant.

I would advise you to take Tab. Deviry for 5 days and 4-7 days later you will get the withdrawal bleeding. If such irregularity persists in the forthcoming cycles, please report to a Gynaecologist for appropriate investigations and treatment.

I hope this helps you.
