Do I Need Glasses Based On Following Eye Test Result?

i am 21 n a computer engineer.recently i have visited a eye specialist n he noticed the following:
R eye: -3.25 S -.25 C
L eye: -3.00 S -.25 C
earlier
R eye: -3.50 S
L eye: -3.25 S
My question is:
1.Is cylindrical power bad ? how can it be reduced through diet?
2.My doctor advised me to use the earlier power glasses n has given some medicines.Do i need to get new glasses or can continue with old glasses?

there is no much differance between old and new number.the most important is your acceptance you should accept the glass for which you feel more comfortable and result is the best.
