Hi,

It is normal for the blood pressure and heart rate to get increased during flu. This explains you feel the head vein pulse running very fast. It will be settled once flu is gone.

Nothing wrong is happening to you. With regards to the medications your doctor has prescribed:

1) Flu tab will relieve pain and other symptoms related to flu

2) Butalin contains the active ingredient Salbutamol which is a bronchodilatator preventing/easing bronchial spasms and relieving your symptoms

3) Mycolyte is a mucolytic containing the active ingredient of Ambroxol, which will help get the sputum thinner such making it much easier to get it out while coughing.

Once again, keep taking in more fluids (water, tea) and have more rest until the symptoms of flu will be finally recovered.

Wish you fast recovery!
