Do Famotidine And Paracetamol Cause Breathing Difficulty And Chest Tightness?

Diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, headache, dizziness, stiff neck, bloated stomach and fever for a couple days. Went to the doctor and was diagnosed with gastroenteritis. Gave me meds (hyoscine methobromide, famotidine and paracetamol). Anyways, felt chest tighten, difficulty breathing and severe continuous pain (but it doesn t feel like heartburn). Possible side effects of the medicine?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Hyosine is not known to cause these effects and they are not known effects of the other medications mentioned either.

Since they are not in keeping with gastroenteritis which normally cause symptoms related to the gastrointestinal tract, you may need to be reassessed by your doctor.

I hope this helps
