Hi have been dizzy and tired for last month and have had last month and then last week menstrual cycles that have been 2 days long and then just watery brown spots? I always have 6 days menstrual cycle me and hubby using condoms . I have 2 daughters and in pregnancies never had any spotting? Started taking some Iron suplements but has not helped?

Hi,
If the change in the menstrual pattern has been observed only during the past two cycles, you should exclude pregnancy through a blood test and a trans-vaginal sonogram. Condoms have a high failure rate. You should check your hemoglobin levels and see if you need some supplementation though correction has no immediate effects. If pregnancy can be excluded, it could be just that your menstrual pattern has changed and so long as there is no other discomfort scanty bleeding is not to be worried about. Hope this helps.
