Discolored Discharge During Menopause, Slight Pain In Clitoris. Why Is It?

Hi,
I am 54 yrs old and have been through menopause. I have no children. I have noticed a discolored discharge for the past three weeks and slight pain in my clitoris. I also have a smell that resembles bread or sour beer (like yeast). Some of the information I have read points to BV but the smell points to a yeast infection. What is your opinion? Thanks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that you might have you have got some infection, either bacterial or fungal.
But as you are in menopausal age, any discharge from genital tract should go for evaluation.
Consult gynaec and get examined.
After local examination she will go for specific treatment accordingly.
Ok and take care.
