Hello, As your mother has Diabetes and has also undergone Bypass surgery in 2005, which suggest she had Diabeties with Macrovascular complication. She need to continue all prescribed Medicine, and also she need to keep her HbA1c around 7 % , and also need to check regulary for complications related to Diabetes like Nephropathy, Retinopathy and Neuropathy, so that if any of this occurs, they are detected early and can be managed well. Along with this she needs to check regulary for her Cardiac Status and Serum Lipid profile status, as she has already undergone bypass before 7 years ........ thanks ......... take care
