Diabetic And In Peri-menopausal Stage. Having Hot Flashes, Burning Scalp And Back. Take Piriton

Hello, I am a 47 year old woman, with type 2 diabetes and blood tests have confirmed that I am in the peri-menopausal stage. I have been having hot flashes for some while, and lots of problems regulating my temperature in hot weather or under stress. In the last week I have been experiencing some very unpleasant symptoms, which started with burning in my scalp and all over my back, which then began to affect my whole body, causing pins and needles and this has since worsened to extreme sharp stabbing sensations even around my throat area, chest abdomonen, legs, feet etc and has become very painful at times. My blood sugar is fairly ok and I have been taking piriton, as at first I thought this could be an allergy, made worse by my hormonal sensitivity. But the symptoms have really been affecting me now and I have l very distressed because they are very sharp pains. (This may not be connected, but I have recently had and increase in numbness in my hands and fingers especially if i rest on them for too long). I feels as though i can't rest in my own skin as the pains are jabbing everywhere. Thanks for your help.(sent from sons ipad)
