I feel you need stricter control of your blood sugar ,getting a Glycosolated Haemoglobin test will help check the control over the past 3 months.A test for lumbosacral nerve root compression (by a MRI scan) and nerve conduction tests will help find the cause of the groin and leg pain.Diabetic neuropathy also needs to be evaluated.Ruling out any renal disease as well as GERD may be required.Your PCP will be able to examine you and guide you further.
