Developed Itchy Red Rash Under Armpits, Between Thighs And Groin Area. Can Clarinase Be Used Instead Of Telfast?

My daughter has developed a slight itchy red rash under her armpits and inbetween her thighs and groin area. A pharmacist last night told me I could use Telfast along with an anti fungal cream. I only have Clarinase, can I use this instead of the Telfast? Thanks.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

No clarinase wont help.

She might have developed fungal infection.

The area of groin around labia is very moist and is prone to develop these infections.

Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.

Various antifungal powders like candid are availabe.

These can help reduce the moisture as well as control the infection.

Please dont use any steroid, it can worsen your condition

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.
