Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It appears as though you could have a chance of being diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome. This condition in itself leads to an irregular menstrual cycle for which the meprate was prescribed. The meprate should have resulted in withdrawal bleeding, but as it has not yet resulted in the same, I think it is best you do not mess with your periods by taking medication to delay it. The withdrawal bleeding can at times occur late, so if you are lucky it will occur after the function.
But please understand that you are still young and your health is more important than a function.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shoaib Khan
