Hi,

Pain in groin area may be caused by abdominal problems such as genitourinary tract infection, inguinal hernia, kidney stones, etc.

There is no connection with epilepsy in most of the cases.

Since it has stopped, I don't think it's a serious problem, however, if the symptoms reappear, getting evaluated by the primary care Doctor is necessary as the first step in understanding better the condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
