Cramps In Hand, Starting From Right Thumb, Spreading To Brain. Taking Azithromycin. Medication Side-effects?

Hi Doctor, My wife takes Azithromycin tablet last night between 11pm and 12am on 05/02/2012, and in the morning she feels cramps in the Hand , initially starts from right thumb and then the whole hand and then right side of the brain, between 9 am and 11am she suffered 3 times and last for 1 to 2min s. Is this any thing too do with Azithromycin.
