Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband recently (about 2 months ago) went on Plavix due to leg cramps....had tests done to rule out circulation issues, very mild. He is a diabetic, he has had open heart surgery, he has high cholesterol, had upper left lobe of his lung removed due to fungus......in the past 2 months (just about the time he has been on the Plavix) he has lost approx. 17 pounds. Could this be due to Plavix? He is following with doctor but just wanted to check on my own.
