Could Vitamin D Supplement Intake Lead To Delay In Menstruation For Over 10 Days?

My period is 9 days late and I was wondering if me starting to take a vitamin D supplement after my last period could be causing the delay? I do not have any early symptoms of pregnancy, besides swollen breasts which happens before my period every month.

Hi,

Vitamin D supplement does not have any such side effect on menstruation. You should exclude pregnancy by home pregnancy test and then go to your doctor for prescribing medication after examining you physically (to exclude other causes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
