Okay so I was having a pain in left butt cheek and down my thigh which I thought was a sciatica or something nerve related from sitting too much at the office and in the car. I'm 37 and spend about 8-10 in a chair and another 1.5 hours in the car 5 days a week. I was feeling pretty stressed out and noticed the pain in my thigh was also at the skin level it just hurt to run my hand down the side of my thigh. I had been in a motorcycle accident and had all this Silver Sulfadiazine left over from a road burn that had given me and for some dumb reason I thought maybe it would help my leg feel better. To make it all the more complicated I had a sexual encounter about 15 days before that with unprotected oral sex sort of a one night stand deal. Oh I'm bisexual and this encounter was with a transexual. A fews days after the pain in my leg I noticed red bumps around the crease in my buttocks and thigh area, then I put more Silver Sulfadiazine down there and got some on my scrotum and penis and where the scrotum and penis touch I now have a black spot on the scrotum and a cluster of black spots on the tip of my penis. In addition I feel like I have hemmoroids when I poop but I've never had anal sex. the left side of my but is red and lumpy and now I have blistery sores in a little patch on that crease of my butt and thigh. My doctor said it was shingles based on the pain symptoms in my leg but I can't seem to find a consensus online on whether you can get the same effect from genital herpes or warts or syphillis, and I'm wondering why would I get shingles other than stress I'm healthy. Could I have cancer or HIV or something. I was last tested 2 years ago and everything was clear and I've been good about using condoms except with oral and I've only had about 6 encounters in that time frame. Shingles? Herpes? It's been 4 weeks since my last sexual encounter and I'm heading to get STD testing done for everything just because I'm paranoid now, but i'm on an anti-viral for Shingles and prednisone for it as well prescribed by the doctor. Am I freaking out for nothing and if the tests come back negative am I good to calm down and just wait a few months to retest to be sure?
