Could The Menstruation Delay Be A Sign Of Pregnancy?

I had sex with my boyfriend and the condom broke but no fluid was present, i took postinor 2 to be safe on the second day after. This was during my fertile period. My period came for that month. But now a month later my period is 3 days late, is it that the emergency contraceptive messed up my cycle or am I pregnant?

Hallow Dear,

The very fact you got regular menses after the episode of ruptured condom proves that that incidence has not resulted into pregnancy.

In fact few days after taking emergency contraceptive like Postinor 2, some amount of bleeding is expected. Then the subsequent menses may be delayed up to a week or so. However, after getting regular menses after emergency contraceptive pills, the subsequent menses after the first menses need not be delayed and irregular. It may be just due to stress provided you did not have any unprotected intercourse during this last cycle.

I hope this helps you.
