Could The Prenatal Vitamins And Biotin Be Causing Delayed Periods?
I normally have a 29 day cycle and it is usually pretty regular. Today is day 30 and still no period, I got a negative HPT result, can I still be pregnant? I am currently taking prenatal vitamins along with 1000mg of biotin, can the supplements be whats causing my period delay?
Prenatal vitamin supplements may not cause any delay in periods. Although your pregnancy test is negative, you could still be pregnant.
You will definitely need to repeat urine pregnancy test after 10 days of missing period inorder to get reliable results.Blood beta Hcg hormone levels can also be detected which is more sensitive than urine tests.
