Could Spotting And Cramps Be Due To Pregnancy?

I had a few hour spotting a couple of days before my period was due, then after that night I didn't bleed for close to 4 weeks. Got negative home pregnancy tests. And now over a week till my next period is due, I am spotting an orangish-red color and having light cramps. Could I possibly be pregnant?

Hello,
With so many negative home pregnancy tests, you are possibly not pregnant and are more likely to be experiencing some hormonal disturbance. Yet, you can get a better clarification through an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres and a trans-vaginal sonogram. If negative for pregnancy, this clinical picture could mean insufficient endometrial preparation and breakthrough bleeds. Then, hormone supplements, healthy diet, avoidance and treatment of infections and maintenance of a healthy weight are needed. Hope this helps.
