My 66 year old mother has been having SEVERE abdo pain & constipation for 7 months basically long story cut short.... Crohns disease has finally been considered, but she now has a colovaginal fistula.... Where do we go from here and what is the prognosis????

Avoid fatty food and oily food. Avoid alcohol drinking and smoking. Avoid gaseous foods like. ... cabbage, cauliflower, Carbonated drinks, turnips, broccoli etc. .... Avoid caffeine . Reduce stress. Avoid dairy products. Avoid spicy foods. Avoid raw fruits and raw vegetables. Drink more water. Consent a gastroenterologist for further treatment.
