Hello,

Your hemoglobin is 9.6 & cholesterol is 225, sugar nil & triglyceride normal. You have slightly low Hb%, please take green leafy vegetables, bananas, liver, seeds like rajma after it is cooked well, etc. You can also take iron supplements. Taking iron supplements may cause gas & thus discomfort in the chest area. You are advised to take antacids or PPIs, once daily to avoid gas formation and hence discomfort.

Cholesterol is at borderline high. High cholesterol could cause fat deposits that put pressure on nerves leading to pins and needles. Thus, make lifestyle changes to bring cholesterol level to normal. Walk regularly. Avoid taking trans-fat, refined flour, full fat dairy products, take fiber rich food, take omega 3 fatty acids, take whey protein, etc. Do physical exercises under a physical therapist. Get re-tested & clinically examined after following strict diet control and healthy lifestyle in 45-50 days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
