Could Pain Below The Back With Yellow Urine Be Kidney Related Problem?

I have a sharp about number 6 pain right below my back on my right side and no matter how much cranberry juice or water I drink I still pee dark yellow with alot of bubbles in my urine about 28 times a day. Also i get a fever at night. I am also prescribed to hydrocodone/soma/xanax and have been for the past four years for a broken back. Could have that given me kidney damage? Or what does that sound like

Dark yellow discolouration of urine does not point to Kidney problem. What it MAY point to is probably a liver disease. Backache medications like hydrocodone generally do not affect kidneys. But the NSAIDS do have detrimental effect on kidneys in a long run! Make sure you do not have them in combination with the hydrocodone. Also get your liver checked.
