Could Ovulation Pain Cause Abdomen Pain With Cramps?

Hello doctor,

I am 28 yrs. old. We have been trying to conceive since 1 month. This month i had sharp pain in my lower left abdomen on the 14th day of my cycle. I had pain in that area and also had cramps (similar to period cramps) for the next 7 days. Since yesterday, i don't feel any kind of pain or cramps. Could it be ovulation pain. I have never felt ovulation pain till now. Also, since i got married, my periods have become scanty. Could i be pregnant ? Please help, doctor :)

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here during ovulation you are having history of pain and cramps so it can be yes related to ovulation...

But if pain continues to increase in intensity than pelvic USG done along with per speculum examination

If specific cause found like ovarian cyst than treated accordingly

If your next period is delayed for ten days than rule out pregnancy by urine hcg card test

Take care

Consult gynecologist for examination
