Could Nausea, Light Headedness And Tingling Sensation In Legs Be Due To Herpes?

I have been diagnosed with hepres for 2 months now , I ve gotten it from My Husband who didn t know he also had herpes. Since about a month now I ve been feeling nausea, light headaches , tingly in my legs/ feet .. Arms and hands . I ve been feeling more tired throughout the day have lost my appetite lately. I ve only had 1 outbreak from herpes type 1 since I ve been diagnosed . Could this be because of herpes or Possible something else . I m not Pregnant I ve taken tests and had my periods .

Hi..
Thanks for posting in health care magic..
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
Let me give you a few details about Herpes. Its a viral infection which transmits through body fluids (blood, semen) or contact with infected lesion. Type 1 Herpes is mainly an oral infection whereas type 2 herpes is a genital infection (invoving vulva, vagina in females) you said your are suffering with Type1 so i assume that its an oral infection.
Herpes virus gets lodged in nerve roots which leads to pain, tingling of legs and feet that you are experiencing. Loss of appetite, nausea are also due to this infection. It can be symptomatically managed with Ibuprofen or Paracetomol. Antivirals like Acyclovir would be prescribed to lessen the severity of symptoms. I would suggest you to consult your treating doctor and get the symptomatic treatment. Hope my answer helped and cleared your doubts. Have a speedy recovery.. Thank you.
