Could My Eye Be Infected Due To The Particle That Fell Into My Eye While Cleaning The Lab Equipment With Sodium Hypochlorite?
hello doc.i work n operation theatre.after lap appendisectomy operation of hiv patient,i was cleaning lap instruments with spirit and next when i was cleaning with sodium hypochlorite solution suddenly something fell into my left eye.i dont exactly know what it is .will i b infected?PLZ HELP

It seems from the history that some dust particle fell into your eyes.
Not all dust particles will cause infection so no need to worry.
The first thing to be done is wash your eyes thoroughly and try to remove the particle. If it comes out you can use antibiotic eye drops.
However if the particle remains inside it requires to be removed by a ophthalmologist.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
