Hello,
I have gone through the query and understood your concern. Since you are sexually active without any protection, you have very good chances of getting pregnant provided you have regular ovulatory cycles. If the home pregnancy test you took was after at least 3 days after the missed period and done with a fresh early morning sample of urine, then it can be concluded that you are not pregnant. This spotting is likely to be due to hormonal imbalance, infections of the cervix/vagina, polyps and erosions. A proper evaluation by an expert should be done to plan further management. Please maintain a healthy weight, regular exercise and a healthy diet. Take care.
