Could Migraine, Difficulty And Sort Of Light In Vision Be Related To Brain Problems?

i have been seeing negative after images for as long as i can remember and now recently i have been getting severe migraines that start off as sort of a light in my vision and make it difficult to see. Could this have anything to do with a brain condition?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having migraine with flashes of light. The flashes of light are a part of migraine headache and they are called as prodromal symptoms.
Migraine is one of the commonest type of primary headache and it will not show any organic lesion in the brain it is more of psychosocial disease.
Migraine can be effectively treated by antimigraine drugs in acute episode and by use of prophylactic drugs to prevent acute attacks in chronic phase.

Thank you
