Could Mid Period Pain With A Delayed Period, Spotting Be A Pregnancy?

hello doctor, my last lmp was on 26apr2010, i had mid period pain so dr asked me to go for a tvs on my 22 day ,which showed every thing normal and a DF of 20mm on my 22day.as i didnot want to conceive she asked me to be on regestrone 5mg twice daily from my 25 day. till this day i didnot get my period ,mine is 28 day cycle with very less bleeding. i wanted whether iam a pregnant now, is ther any chance of pregnancy now for me?

imp points in ur history
ur period was on 26 april, mid cycle pain
tvs on 22 day showed DF of 20 mm
taking regesteron 5 mg from day 25
history of 28 days cycle
now ur periods delayed

please mention how many days u took regesteron ( usually given for 5 days )
also tell how many days r ur periods delayed

regesteron( progesterone ) is also known to cause delay in periods by few days
usually a patient gets her period after stopping regesteron for 5 to 7 days due to withdrawl of progesterone

so u should wait for at least 5 days after stopping regesterone before labelling it delayed period
if ur periods r delayed for more than 5 to 7 days after stopping regesteron, u should go for urine pregnancy test with morning urine sample
