Hi, Lymecycline belongs to the group of antibiotic medications known as tetracycline which is mainly used to help alleviate the symptoms of acne by killing the bacteria that cause the infection and subsequent inflammation. Some people get a fungal infection called thrush after taking a course of antibiotic medications like Lymecycline. Antibiotics like Lymecycline can kill the normal harmless bacteria that prevent the overgrowth of yeast in the vagina. Symptoms include dryness, redness and itching in the vagina. Women may experience vaginal bleeding during sexual intercourse due to vaginal dryness caused by Lymecycline.
