Could Light And Short Period, Constant Indigestion, Intermittent Nausea Be Early Signs Of Pregnancy?

My husband and I had intercourse on may 6. My period as due may 18 but about 8 days after intercourse I had what seemed like a very light period for about 3 1/2 days with no cramps but constant indigestion and slight nausea on and off. Could these be early signs of pregnancy? I believe I am now about 12 dpo.

Hello,
If you have always had regular 28-30 day cycles, you had intercourse during the fertile period. The occurrence of spotting a week after the intercourse could mean an early implantation bleed. Your symptoms could be due to very early pregnancy, but, they need clinical evidence to confirm. In this scenario, please go for either a HPT with a fresh early morning sample of urine or for the assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres to confirm/exclude pregnancy. Plan further management based on the result. Take care.
